As many of you know, we lost my Mom in early December. Because of that, I was going to push the release of book two (Tracking The Hunter) back until early January. However, my step Dad approached me and said some things about my writing that brought me to even more tears.

He mentioned how proud he and Mom were, and still are. How amazed that I’d made it to International Bestseller on Amazon with my first book. And several other, personal things. Then he paused, took a deep breath and said, “The day before Mom left us, you called and told her that your second book was ready, right? If it is, do you think you can have them publish it on the 15th of December in honor of her?”

I stopped short. My heart crumbled all over again because, you see, Mom was my best friend. My confidant…
