I don’t know whether to strangle the author or hug her. On the one hand the story is outstanding. It is superbly written. From the very first page I was hooked. Okay she had me at the second sentence and never let me go. She made me care about the characters. Made me want to know what made them tick. What happened that night six months ago when Madeline met Madame Devine the Carnival psychic? Why did she dream about Adam and Cage before she even met them? How did she know their names? Why did they feel so very familiar? What was this connection between Clary Sage and Madeline? So many questions I want answered. Then to top it off the sex scenes are so hot and intense I had to get a fan out. You have to applaud an author who can do that when there is hardly any actual sex going on. What no real sex you say? How is that possible? Hah! Read the book and find out. The author does it and she does an awesome job of it.

Now where was I? Oh yeah. Great story; well written; awesome characters; and hot, hot, hot, sex; so why do I want to strangle the author? It’s a serial. I know, I was warned. But it was just so good. I hated to see it come to an end. But then again, I hate to see any book I really like come to an end. At least with this one I know there will be book two, three, four, and five. Soon I will get to revisit them all again and knowing me I will reread this book before I read book two. Okay I guess she gets a hug.

A definite 5 star read. I will be getting book two as soon as it is available. Oh yeah, Big Hugs to Renee George for a great book!

Warning: There is a cliffhanger, because it’s a serial. One you are really going to want to read. If you are totally against serials I suggest you wait until the whole series is out and get it then, because from what I have read so far it will be worth it, but don’t worry. You can always check back when the last book comes out, and check the reviews then. I’m sure you will be hearing the same thing. Buy the book. I haven’t read one of Renee’s books that I wouldn’t recommend to a friend.

I was given this book free of charge by the author for an honest review.
