Review – Midnight Shift Episode One by Renee George

☕☕☕☕☕ = Better than 5 starsMidnightShiftE1

Unique New Story Line with Lots of Heat and Intrigue.

Brilliant beginning for what promises to be an outstanding new paranormal ménage? The first episode only hints that Benie, Ian, and maybe Trace will be a trio. Either way this book rocks and I can’t wait to read Episode Two. Since it’s out. I’m off to read it now! 🙂

Intriguing story. Benie kick’s butt and changes colors to match her surroundings. How cool is that! Ian is the sexy, genius childhood friend/lover, and Trace. Is luscious on a stick. He reads minds and has a way with swords.

One Sexy Slayer. Two Alpha Werewolves. A Dangerously Hot Romance.

(This is a serialized novel — see Author Note at bottom of blurb)
Benie Dilian hunts supernatural bad guys. Her ability to shift like a chameleon, to hide in plain sight, as well as her enhanced senses, makes her the ultimate killing machine. The only person in her life that she remotely trusts is her genius best friend—Ian Arent.

After a dangerous supernatural tracker attacks Ian, turning the human into a shapeshifter, Benie must not only find out who is behind the attack that nearly killed her best friend, but also find a way to help Ian deal with his new reality. She enlists the help of telepathic werewolf Trace Calder, a supe who specializes in mediation with the “other worlders.”

As Benie fights her intense attraction to both men, she knows she has more to worry about than losing her heart and soul. Soon, she finds out that the attack on Ian is only the beginning of a journey fraught with danger and dark truths—and a prophecy that promises Benie a destiny she never wanted.

***Authors Note: Please be aware that Midnight Shift (Episode One) is the first episode in a hot new Shapeshifter/ Paranormal Romance Ménage serialized novel. The Lion Kings, Part Four by Renee George – Review

10863968_10152909008868454_4948621147792620640_o☕☕☕☕☕ Review

Queen of the cliff-hanger!  Renee George knows how to rock a serial.

Queen of the cliff-hangers is definitely a title Renee George has earned, as she really leaves you hanging, in the most torturous, delicious way.  The plot thickens, more of the supporting characters are revealed.  Some questions are answered, while others are raised.  And all the while, Maddie and her Lion Kings grow closer, ever reaching towards the elusive mating.  Maddie has their love.  Cage and Adam have their Queen, but will they be able to keep her?

Who killed Clary, will she get to Maddie also?  Will the Kings get to keep their queen?  These are only a few of the burning questions I’m left with.  Can’t wait for Part Five – the final conclusion where my questions will be answered.

Did I mention, that I absolutely love this serial?  I used to refuse to read a serial, couldn’t stand a cliff-hanger, but I read this as a favor, and have been addicted ever since.  Hot sexy alpha lion shifters, and a strong physic heroin, surrounding by an interesting carnival family.  What’s not to love?

I was given this book free of charge by the author for an honest review.

For six months, Madeline Granger has been overwhelmed by an almost magnetic pull that has kept her on the road, traveling all over the Midwest and erotically dreaming of two men… her lion kings. When she wakes up in Kansas, just outside the perimeter of a traveling carnival, it miraculously feels like coming home. But after she meets the two men who shouldn’t exist outside her own mind, it’s hard for her to reconcile that her dream lovers are two very real and sexy men, not imaginary. All she knows for certain is she wants them both.

Adam Michael’s and his brother Cage, both lion-shifters, not only run Pantheros & Co Carnival, they are the stars. Making a home for his crew of misfits and outcasts was Adam’s dream. Cage was his most desperate rescue, and after a profound loss, Adam worries that Cage’s grief will drive him toward a brutality he can’t come back from.

The last thing either lion-shifter expected was Madeline Granger. She might be the answer to Adam’s prayers, in more ways than one, if he can get Cage to look past his pain. But, can Adam and Cage see Madeline as more than a substitute Clary? And can Madeline rescue two Kings drowning in their own sorrow?

Maddie might want The Lion Kings to rule her body, but is she strong enough to rule their hearts.

The queen of the serial still rules!  And she’s rocking it.

I absolutely love the flow of this book.  The gradual unfolding of the story line is superb.  While being pulled deeper into the lives of Maddie and her Lion Kings, with is surprising twists and turns, you can’t help becoming invested.  Riveting from beginning to end!

The Sentinels Series by Alexandra Ivy

Reviews by Ruckie

I just finished reading the two main books that Alexandra Ivy released in her fabulous Sentinels paranormal romance series.  Born in Blood and Blood Assassin are the type of high quality stories that devoted fans have come to expect from authors of this caliber, and new fans will definitely not be disappointed.  While lately it may seem that the PNR genre is beginning to be saturated with a lot of the same, many of our favorite authors and a few of the newcomers still bring it.  Introducing a world where “high bloods” and “norms” are struggling to coexist, Alexandra Ivy draws the reader in with both likeable and repulsive characters, a world that is by turns real and paranormally fantastic, and irresistible storytelling.

While Out of Control was released in October of 2014 at an estimated 109 pages, it was just enough to get the readers going.  Born in Blood was the first…
