Fated Desire (The Twisted Destiny Saga #1)

While fast paced and a fairly smooth read, I did get a bit confused as to who was talking in the beginning in one of the scenes, but it quickly straightened itself out. And to be totally honest my blood sugars kept dropping on me at the time, so I wasn’t at my sharpest.

The Twisted Destiny Saga looks to be shaping up nicely. Cora is a feisty character that you can’t help but root for, and Ryan is one hot Alpha Werewolf that I wouldn’t mind being mated with. The chemistry between the two is sizzling, just the way I like it. Their story is just beginning. Fated Desire has a bit of a cliffhanger, but one that is done well. I normally get totally pissed when a book ends with a cliffhanger, but not in this case. Because the story had come to a conclusion, kind of like that of a tv series, where the episode ended, not as a “to be continued” but as a continuing storyline that they will pick up next time.

Franca Storm has given us a great cast of characters; sexy werewolves, evil vampires, witches, seekers, a princess, a vampire prince, a couple of kings, and the white and dark realms. I eagerly look forward to the next book in the saga. Franca Storm is an author to keep an eye on, as I believe her books are only going to improve until she is totally blowing our mind.

Warning!  This is not a bedtime read.  I grabbed this book thinking I’ll read for a little bit before I go to sleep.  Yeah Right!  Next thing I knew it was light outside.  Was it worth the loss of a nights sleep?  Most definitely!

Sands’ vampires/immortals, (depending on which immortal you are speaking to) are not your average vampire.  They’re human with a little something extra in their blood.

Fast-paced, this book flows easily, keeping you thoroughly engrossed.  Great characters, sizzling chemistry, and of course great mate sex!  (Want to know what great mate sex is.  Read the book.).  Sands’ keeps you wondering and guessing through-out the book:  Who is Madame Devine?  Is she Basha Argeneau?  Why did she do the things they she did?  How can things workout for her and Marcus in the long run.

Although this is a series, this book can stand alone, but I was happy to have the more in-depth background and history from reading the previous books.

5 Stars – I would recommend this to my friends.  I will most definitely buy more of her books and I will reread this book (and the rest of the series) in the future.

This book was awesome. I just finished it earlier this evening. Wow, talk about smoking. I think the fire alarm went off. The excerpts and summary of Dark Carvings did not prepare me for how blown away I was with this book. It was beyond awesome. Great story line, strong plot, smooth read, and sex scenes to die for.

Ella Grey a half/vampire and Micah MacGregor her Shadow hunter partner are hit with a lust spell by a Succubus.  These two previously hostile partners spend the next four days having hot, hot sex.  The only problem is this pesky little prophecy about the two of them getting together causing the destruction of all.  Ella is beautiful, tough, yet loyal.  And Micah is hot, shoulders to die for, mysterious, and just as loyal.  The supporting characters are just as loveable, except maybe the bad guys, Micah and Eli’s dad, and the vampire Queen to name a few.  This is a definite must read. I am on pins and needles waiting for Dark Innocence, (Hannah and Dante’s story).

Wicked Wind

What can I say, but Wow! I totally loved this book. From the first page to the last I was hooked. Forget cooking or cleaning. I even gave up my Candy Crush and a night out playing pool. This book was that good with an excellent storyline, great characters, and steamy love scenes. Did I mention the really Hawt demons; the uninhibited wood nymphs? This book has a little bit of everything, sexy dances, exciting fight scenes, laughter, fighting, making up, and some outstanding chemistry between the lead characters. The secondary characters are great also and I am definitely looking forward to their books. This is a must have for your TBR list.
